| Aerbs Mountains
a long chain of branching peaks on the Mist Continent. Their altitude effectively separates the continent into three distinct areas of flatland, each ruled by a different kingdom.
Tha cable car system, along with the gates that led to it, have long been abandoned since the disapearance of mist 10 years ago, when the cable cars ceased to work and fell into disrepair. This does not stop the most reckless of young travellers though.

"The Realm of Eternal Rain," it was once a great country known for its strength and righteousness, now only knows it as rain-drenched ruins. 10 years of heartache and failed patriotism, te city lies abandonned and dark save for a few who still try to rebiuld their lost home. Was home to the Burmecians, a rat-like people known for their great nobility and sense of honor. Sir Fratley, Freya, and Puck are originally from here.

| Cleyra
The Cleyran people were originally Burmecians, but, following a disagreement over the Burmecians' taste for war, the Cleyrans distanced themselves from Burmecia. They created a settlement within a giant tree and protected themselves by surrounding their city with a sandstorm. During Queen Brahne's conquest for power, the settlement was destroyed. However, over the last 10 years, the tree has grown again, and the Cleyran people returned to settle in the desert around the tree, rather than in the tree itself.

| Black Mage Village
The Black Mage Village is populated by Black Mages who suddenly became self-aware and desired a life of peace. It is also home to Genome refugee's who have made their home here. The Black Mages lead a completely secluded life in their village concealed by the Dead Forest.
In recent years, their numbers have begun to dwindle, due to more and more of them "stopping"

| Conde Petie
A single flat building shaped like a bridge, Conde Petie was built astride two Iifa roots. This location was chosen, according to Darcy Skywatcher, for its proximity to both the mountains and the forests and for its ample sunlight, which are considered sacred to the Dwarves who reside here.

| The Iifa Tree
Planted by Garland many years ago, the Iifa Tree is a filtering system for the souls of Gaia. The souls were directed towards the tree, whereupon they are intercepted by the Soul Cage. Mist is a by-product of the filtering process and was pumped through the roots of the tree to the Mist Continent. Now though, it is simply a dead plant.

| The Desert Palace
The Desert Palace was Kuja's lair located in the desert on the Outer Continent. It is an immense underground fortress, filled with traps. It can only be entered through a mock Antlion pit. The Desert Palace is one of the locations from Terra that ended up on Gaia 5,000 years ago due to Garland's failed attempt to merge the two planets into one.

| Madain Sari (1 sub-board)
Madain Sari used Summon Magic to study the planet, and they theorized that the Eidolons were Gaia's guardians manifested from the collected belief in myths and legends accumulated within the planet's crystal. The "Eidolon Wall", with the many engravings of Eidolons, still survives to this day.
In recent years fragments of the Summoner Tribe, survivors of its destruction, and their descendants have been returning to rebuild their broken homeland.
