This is an idea I had for a board-wide storyline  Basically this aincient Eidolon got too big for her boots and claimed herself to be a goddess and made humans worship her, until the other eidolons all got together and went "nuh-uh! not on our terf!" and trapped her underground so that she could do the humans no harm. But pretty soon she shall bust outta there and start making people worship her again  which will inevitably lead to anarchy xD What do you guys think? anyone interested? |

Oh sort of like the eidolon in the Lifa Tree kind of deal? I feel like we'd need a villain letting her out or something and someone to play her. Hums. I mean its tough to write a plot for IX because the ending was so settling; it didn't seem like much else was going to come up and rebel.
I think the best bet is to go with something mist related because that seems to be the source of most of the evil in the game. How we get there is beyond me really.
Maybe the eidolon you mentioned above can have the ability to shroud the continent in mist once again or something evilish. It's really up to you though.
I shall be here regardless of what plot you choose. So pick one you like! ^_^

I agree with Beatrix, we should have a villain to release her (homg Black Waltz No. 3?!). And possibly have it Mist related~! =D But yeah, your idea sounds good besides that and I would happily RP that plot. :3 |

Well, thats why I left quite a bit really open, cos time does all srots of things. For example: Garnet and I had the idea that without the mist people are getting a lot sicker (see the Magic Marker thread) and I was thinking more along the lines of an accident, like theyr excavating or something and break the seal and she gets released cos without the mist the seal was weaker (hence the plot title  ) |

Yeah open plots are wonderful ideas!
I like Garnet's idea that you listed above. Maybe Beatrix and the troops can stumble across a not so nice area of mist that's making its way towards the castle or something like that.
Just say they word if you need her. ;D

I really think this idea could work. :o What if the two villains that set this eidolon free was Zorn and Thorn? They could cause some sort of uproar in Alexandria, blaming Garnet and the others for the disappearance of the mist. So when the eidolon is released, she shrouds the world in mist again, making the people of alexandria turn against garnet, and join her side. Its just a thought!
oh, and I was definatly thinking of Number's idea when I wrote this xp
