General Appearance:
Zorn and Thorn are twins. Aside from both being both midgets, standing at the mere height of 3’5”, and both weight fifty pounds without their clothing, they have the same structure in body and in face. They were born identical twins; however, it seemed they act more like as one person rather than twins. The two are easily separated on their clothing, Thorn sporting a jester outfit in red and white checkers while Zorn wears an exactly identical one except with the colors of blue and white. Any skin that is showing is covered with a thick layer of white paste and red and blue eye shadow and lipstick, each matching their colored outfits. No one ever sees the twins without this makeup as they seemingly sleep with makeup on and one has to question whether it comes off in the shower or if they ever bathe to begin with.
Underneath the mask of makeup however, the twins bodies are horrifyingly gruesome. Although it’s slightly hinted how ‘off’ they truly are even with makeup because their ears seemed to be mangled, as if someone had some sort of sick pleasure of taking chunks of them off. But underneath the thick coverage of makeup, their bodies are heavily scarred from burning. They actually have no hair on their body, they actually wear wigs, Thorns a dark red, while Zorn’s is black. Even before they had been burned by a fire, the two had not been beautiful children; they were born deformed, with their noses far too long, and their faces far too thin. Their fingers are abnormally long, and their extreme lean-ness allows a person to make out the contours of all their bones if the twins were ever to be seen without clothing.

History: Zorn and Thorn are not twins but two halves of a single two-headed beast called Meltigemini. Meltigemini had been created from the Mist many years before Zorn and Thorn had arrived in the world. Kuja gained control of the demon and masked it’s true identity so he could put it into service at Alexandria Castle. Zorn and Thorn are the results of that mask.
They played as Queen Brahne’s lackeys for quite a number of years. Meltigemini had the uncanny ability to extract Eidolons from hosts and it was this ability that had originally interested Kuja in the first place and why they were such key roles in Queen Brahne’s plans during the time of war. They also had the ability to create Black Mages and the Black Waltz that were mere tools of destruction. They eventually lost their good graces with the queen and rushed to realign themselves with Kuja.
In the depths of Mount Gulug, where the fight against Zidane and his friends took place, the two halves were reunited to form Meltigemini once more. They were defeated once and for all, or so it had seemed. The monster returned to the mist to recover and after many years of slumber, the beast awoken once more, torn in two once more. The lack of Mist to feed its energy made it impossible for it to gather the strength it needed to come back whole once more. Zorn and Thorn have returned only recently but they remained inseparable.
