For the most part you're all good. However, timeline wise, you would not fit. Eiko was the only summoner living in Maidan Sari when he was 9, so realisticly hed have to have been raised by remnants of the disaster that destroyed it.

Welcome, Ivan! I'm very, very sorry for making you wait so long, but here it goes.

Allow me to elaborate on Vykie's critique: FFIX takes place in the year 1800. Madain Sari was destroyed in 1790. Your character as he currently is would be 9 years old when Madain Sari was destroyed, so even if he survived that attack he would not be living there afterwards. Thus, you cannot have had any history with Madain Sari past 9 years of age; there would be no Eidolon violently ripping out of Ivan and destroying his home, etc. It was already destroyed.

Two, if he is a Summoner, it seems odd to me that he wouldn't have been born in Madain Sari, which is a Summoner's city (and the only known one in FFIX). The mystery surrounding his circumstances at birth ought to be explained in more detail, even if Ivan himself doesn't know it; just like you list summons he doesn't currently have, but will have later, you must describe his life in detail without leaving anything ambiguous, even if IC nobody knows about it. This benefits both you and everyone interacting with Ivan since you have a clear idea of what you're dealing with and where you might want to go with his character development.

Three, it also seems odd to me that his horn would be removed by Summoners simply because it looked different. A Summoner's horn helps to channel their summoning, so they probably wouldn't take the removal of one lightly; I also doubt that the IRL superstitious idea of "evil-looking" attributes would really affect the decisions of people who summon Satan when they need a fire for their barbeque. I'd ask that you perhaps reconsider this aspect of your history, and try to modify it to make a little more sense.

Four, I greatly appreciate that you want to hold off on some of the Eidolons and spells for later, and as you're limiting yourself to just one summon and one spell I'm totally okay with this. The only thing I take issue with is casting Death; while that's a perfectly good ability in-game, it's going to be downright useless on an RP forum because instant character death isn't allowed, and in the case of monsters and NPCs and stuff you already have so many abilities that could easily bit one-hit KOs, so an instant death spell isn't necessary at all.

I'm totally cool with everything else. I'd just like you to rethink your history a bit to make sure it fits in with the canon timeline. If you'd like a good rule of thumb, there's a full FF9 timeline right here you can use however you'd like. If you need any help or ideas or if you just have questions/concerns in general, feel free to voice them and I'll help you in whatever way I can.

Done I edited the history, he's a human now, though. And I figured that he would utilize Eidolons the same way Brahna and Kuja did, by extracting them from people, however, he only has one right now. I got rid of Death, since that made a lot of sense to me. Let me know if everything is good now.

I'm terribly sorry for the confusion, but I've deleted Ivan as a character. If it's at all possible, I'd like to assume a canon character. I'll look at the list very quickly and make my pick. I promise I'll do the profile right the first time so it's easier
