General Appearance: Rayne stands at 5'11" inches weighing about 176 Lbs. His hair appears very unkempt, and he has two piercings in his lips. He has a slim highly toned appearance. He tends to be clad in very dark usually black clothing.

History: Growing up in treno Rayne learned quickly its a fend for yourself world. He didnt have much of a family life, and spent most of his youth as a loner. He was quick to learn the art of theft and deception, getting a thrill from outsmarting his hapless victims. At about the age of five he was recruited by a thieve's guild, after he managed to steal from one of the guild recruiters. This accident was a pivitol point in his life. After entering into this guild he was imediatly trained by several of the upperclass theives of the guild. He was trained in the art of fighting. after nearly 8 years of training he had surpassed his teacher in combat prowess, and moved on. The next two years were spent being trained by one of gaia's most imfamous cat burglers. She taught him the art of blending in to high society, and the use of ones suroundings as a defensive way of escape. The next few years were spent training under a guild fence, he quicly learned how to get rid of his stolen merchandise, as well as the ability to appraise somthings value simply by looking at it. After many nights of small time thefts in Treno, Rayne became bored of his life there. He decided
"perhaps its time I move out into the world, there must be lots of people who have a little more than they need"
For the past year Rayne has been a travelling theif, as well as con artist. Through out his travels it appears he may have made a few enemies with his choice of targets. Aparently stealing from other theifs is more of an adrenaline rush as compaired to hapless nobles with more than they would ever notice missing.

OOC: due to my inability to write a good historical discription, i figured why not give a base rp of major critical events of rayne's past that would give a better insight to his historical life

Age 5:

Rayne a youth of the slums sat on some boxes stacked next to a bar. Late nights this was his favorite place to take from those too drunk to notice.
The midnight air was cold and damp, the smell of alcohol strongly flooding his nose. Rayne sat awaiting anyone hapless enough to spill out of the bar, The sound of the door opening piqued his intrests as he turned to see who was leaving. It was an old slightly pudgy ruffian, his head starting to bald. The man stumbled across the sidewalk slurring his words
"shtoopid wooman.... Alwhays yellin' at me..... callin' me a good fer nothin...... I ha..............."
His words were stopped short as he tripped and fell into a man.
"HEEYYY! you's blind?"
As he tried to shove the man, but was quickly stopped short as the man grabbed his wrist. With one swift fluid motion the man twisted his arm around. The fat man's cries of anguish were piercing as the other man said
"Go home and sleep it off"
He then shoved the fat man to the ground, and Rayne decided to use the comotion to his advantage. Rayne slipped through the night like a serpent through the grass of the gardens of eden. With a quick slight of hand he managed to steal the man's wallet and take off into the night. The man was so pre-occupied that he didn't notice his wallet was missing till he went to pay for his drink.

The next morning:
After a long night of stealing money, Rayne returned home to see the very man from whom he'd stolen the wallet the night before. In an instant Rayne was seized with fear, what did this man want to do to him? Rayne was now trapped he had no where to go no way of escape as the man began walking towards him. The fear raising so many questoins; was this his end? how was he going to die? what would this man do to him? Why did I have to take his wallet? Then a sudden flow of relief entered him as the man began to speak.
"I'm not here to hurt you"
Rayne swallowed hard, before replying
"then you're here to take back what I stole?"
The man smiled
"no you stole it, if a man doesn't have the ability to keep his property, he doesn't really deserve it does he?"
Rayne gave the man a quizical look
"umm I guess not?"
The man put his hand on Rayne's shoulder
"you have skills that I could make use of, I am Darrius. I am a member of a guild who practice the same skills you displayed...... How would you like to be a part of our group."
Rayne in his naive youthfulness saw this as an easy way to get the thrill of stealing, and quickly agreed to become part of the guild.

Time warp biznitches... Age 13:

After years of training under an elderly swordsman, and former theif called "the night blade", Rayne had reached a peak in his training. It came time for his final test.

As Rayne entered the training room of "the night blade"s home he was met by one of the mans many servants. The servant came bearing a wooden training blade. The man extended his arms and bowed as he handed rayne the sword. Rayne laid the wooden sword across his shoulder as he walked to an old man sitting on a yoga mat meditating infront of a fire place. Rayne slowly bowed before the old man.
"master, you called for an audience with me?"
The man opened his eyes, and gazed on Rayne with an odd look of joy in his eyes
"For eight long years I have trained you for Darrius, and the time has come for a test of your skills. You have been my pupil, the person who will be able to carry on this gift of my sword styles. I have faith that you will"
The man sprang to his feet quickly, with the vigor of a man one third his age. He quickly swung a wooden sword aiming for Raynes ribs. In an almost instinctual manor Rayne raised his sword to block this strike.
"pass this test"
The old man tried to strike Rayne, but was blocked each time. Rayne was able to anticipate the man's attacks, but was unable to find an opening. The man had him on his heals with his attacks, Rayne waited blocking each attack managing to keep himself out of harms way. Rayne used his agility to dodge a powerful swing intended to break his head open. This was his chance, Rayne struck the man's arms knocking the blade from his hands. Then quickly followed up with a roundhouse kick. The old man fell to the ground laughing as he said
"just as I expected you have passed my test."
As Rayne offered the man his hand, Darrius walked into the room.
"Well it seems like its already over.... So old man, I guess you're getting soft in your old age" in a playfully happy tone.
Darrius gave Rayne a pat on the back,
"you done good kid, bout time you learned how to blend in with the rich isn't it"
as a sadistic smile slid across Darrius's face.


T-t-t-t-t-t-Time warp Age 16:

After nearly three years of training with a beautiful socialite, and former theif named Marlena (Lenne) Saiven, Rayne's test to blend in with a socialite party began.

Elegantly dressed in the finest threads money could buy Rayne stands silently in the corner of a glitzy party. Rayne looks around the room slowly gathering the sights into his memory. As he takes a sip of his drink a man walks up to him, and begins a conversation
"Why, Hello Young man, You are a new face among our common group"
Rayne quickly spoke the words as if weaving a beautiful tapestry(spelling?) with his lies
"Oh yes, well see my parents decided to come and veiw the auction house here in Treno."
The man smiled
"Ahh yes, I see, where does your family come from?"
Rayne spoke with the elegance of a born noble
"We came here from Alexandria, A beautiful castle town,"
The man smiled, but was cut short of his conversation with Rayne as a large group of party goers began speaking to him. Rayne used this distraction to escape the man's interogation of his life. Rayne slid through the room with elegance, as he made his way over to where Lenne was speaking with a large group of people. Rayne stepped behind her, and whispered
"why must everyone question everything?" in a retorical tone
"It seems like I've sank into the crowd, so..... who's the target this time?"
As Lenne spoke with the group she dropped a name in a casual maner. It seems Rayne's reasoning for being here was the host's daughter.
*blah blah blah, he hit on her, convinced her to show him her father's study, steals his stuff and splits* OOC sorry i got bored of this story line
