A noble downfall

Well as most of you know there have always been unspoken divisions amongst the nobility, and peasantry. What if someone began instigating anger in both groups and slowly began pushing for each to combat the other? This could lead to a board wide thread, that relativly anyone could join and have fun with. The possiblities for character development are endless. Anyone got an oppinion on this idea?
