The way in which Dagger spoke to her seemed somewhat...disjointed. As if her way of speaking was badly adjusting to a new situation. Alita dismissed it as the change from Limblum culture to Alexandrian.
"In a way." Alita said with a shrug (oh, the scolding she would get if her mother could see her!) "It was more of a kicking and screaming arrangement on my part."
"So, you come from Limblum? Is it nice there, I've never been but I hear their theatre district is fantastic!"
