General Appearance:
Beatrix stands a little above average height for someone of her age range, around five foot seven. Most of the time she stands equal with the men she fights. Chestnut-colored locks cascade to about shoulder length, ending in thick curls that are held out of her eyes by a silver band. Beatrix often wears an eye patch over her right eye which doubles as her head band during battles and everyday life. Her eyes are an amber-brown and are framed by her thick locks and oval face. While most of the time she appears to have a serious expression on, more often than not she is in a peaceful and loving mood.

As for her choice of wardrobe Beatrix prefers clothing that allows her to move within combat. Of course she's not entirely without style. Normally she adorns a white v neck top that travels down into a skirt that often trails behind her much like a cloak. Beatrix wears gloves that cover the centers of her palms and allow for her to grip her blade without wear to her fingers. She wears a thick belt to keep the white top in place. Underneath Beatrix has crimson-colored leggings that eventually fade into her silver shoes. Beatrix is almost always seen with her sword Save the Queen.

History:
Beatrix comes from a middle class family that lived in Treno. There she grew up admiring the individuals around her and strove one day to become a guardian to such. As a child she was never one to hold back but upon becoming an adult, Beatrix learned many lessons that have shaped her into the strong and dedicated individual she is today. After she discovered her dreams and pursued them Beatrix found her way into the Alexandrian knighthood, quickly showing talent and becoming among the elite. Eventually she became a general, known for her merciless style of battle and prowess.

Beatrix served Queen Brahne without question, doing the woman's evil deeds despite her personal issues. But when the queen asked her to strike down a member of the very family she'd been sworn to protect Beatrix drew a line. The elite solider helped Zidane and crew overthrow the tyrannical villain Garnet's mother had become and in turn the crew eventually over threw Kuja and his plans. However, she was unable to stop the attack and near destruction of her beloved capital, nearly losing Garnet in the process. Knowing well that her talents could be used to hold and rebuild Alexandria while Garnet was away, Beatrix remained behind.

When the queen returned Beatrix rejoiced and the world was thrown back into its natural order. Now she protects Garnet as she had once protected her adoptive mother before, alongside her newly found companion Adelbert Steiner. Beatrix is well aware that the threat of the mist is far from over. As a soldier she has been taught to be ever vigilant and has recently noticed disturbing news coming from remote areas. Beatrix remains ever vigilant to the new queen, making a promise that this time she will protect Alexandria from all harm, especially Garnet and her newfound companions.
