Well, this is an old plot I used to use on another site.
The basic idea was that Zorn and Thorn would revive Black Waltz 3, who then went on to revive Black Waltz 1. Together they went looking for Garnet and followed an old trail, leading them to the Iifa tree. (This involved happy days of Three marrying One), and eventually someway or another they wound up in Black Mage Village.
Now the basic premise of the site was that the Genomes and the Black Mages where fighting, the mages jealous of the genomes eternal life and yet soulless appearance. When Three and One stumbled upon this place, they drove out the genomes. The mages saw them as angels, heralding them on their brave actions and for saving them in effect. Three manipulated this, taking control over them and blaming Zidane for these great atrocities, was it not him who brought those monkey tailed scum here in the first place?
They then went on to assemble a small army of black mages and turn their sights towards Alexandria, at which point Three now knows that Garnet is Queen thanks to the mages in the village. So they eventually invade Alexandria, Garnet is forced to flee, apparently abandoning the city to it's fate. But Zorn and Thorn appear, fighting off the hordes of mages, and in gratitude they are crowed Kings of Alexandria, though they insit a painting of Queen Brahne is the true rular.
Blar. I'm in no way saying we should impliment this, it's just a crappy old plot that might be of some use to you :3 Feel free to change, edit, or just not use it at all <3
